Fix Convergence Problem On Your Projection TV

How to Fix a Convergence Problem on your Rear Projection TV Recommended inexpensive materials… Artic Silver Ceramique Thermal Compound: www.amazon.com Equus 3320 Auto-Ranging Digital Multimeter: www.amazon.com Weller 25W Soldering Iron: www.amazon.com Solder: www.amazon.com Desoldering Wick/Braid: www.amazon.com Be sure to do some research, writing down the make and model of your TV set as well as the STK model number inside your TV. It would be in the form STK###-###. You may find that you have a few choices to select from, with newer updated STK models being available. If you choose to upgrade, be mindful that you will also have to change the surrounding resistors, according to your manufacturer’s service bulletin. My second Youtube movie, enjoy! Rate the video! Kinman Impersonator 54 analysis 3 adapted (crunchy apple-pie HRD)

Author: admin

Same gear and way to record than in test 2. Had to redo this test 3 : the EQing of the amp, mic sensitivity setting and recording levels weren’t good… This time, I’ve played louder. Amp settings: -Low level input; -Clean channel, bright on, volume at 3 o’clock; -Bass and treble (and reverb) around 2 o’clock; -Mids at 4 (see below why); -Presence almost full up, to mimic that 820 Ohms nfb fixed resistor of vintage Fender amps; -Volume box in the FX loop, to avoid any problem with the neighborhood… Note that I’ve modified the amp: -100pf Bright cap on the clean channel volume; -Mid control blackfaced: jumper between the center and right lugs… When this pot is on 4, it gives the 6,8k of these fixed mid resistors in old Fender amps; -R103 has been cut off (not later that this afternoon) for a fuller reverb; -12AT7 as phase inverter; -Jensen C12N instead of the stock (and awful) Celestion Century Vintage of this White Ligthning edition. Recorded through a SM57, with a delay between guitar and amp (MXR Carbon Copy). NO other FX, NO EQing, compression, (re)mix, overdub. Line6 Toneport set on *no amp*… No time wasted to do the vid. One shot, a few minutes to insert the tittles and that’s all. For the first time, it translates roughly what I hear in the room or on stage… Total impro recorded as it is, mistakes included. :-) Once again, I’ve tried to let it breathe and to explore the dynamic range of the pickups. And once again, I write all this stuff because the vid is …

GC-D 100 Revision A

Author: admin

Here’s a quick video of the GC-D 100 in action, though in two parts. I only have one LCD, soldered it on the board on the right, and seeing as it has 16 pins, I’d say it’s on there for good. The one on the right holds the menu system and calculation code on it. The one on the left is what I threw together today after lots of rework and mysterious problems, and just holds simple code to click the speaker/light the LED for every count of radiation detected. Revision B should be done pretty soon, there’s a few more things I’d like to test beforehand. Once I get the Geiger counter fully functioning with a reworked board then I can confirm the fixes for Rev B are good and send the board off to BatchPCB. Features in Rev B: Accurate 4.194304 MHz clock for timing, real time clock HV header, adding the possibility for a different (external) Geiger tube attatchment ATmega88PA to use external crystal oscillator, and adds more room for expansion Fixes for Rev B: Repositioned the resistors for the Geiger tube – put the Geiger tube in between the 10M and 100k resistors instead Wired the correct bits from the LCD (DB7:4, not 3:0) Fixed the hole position for the LCD Fixed speaker output – speaker and LED were routed from GND to GND through transistor Added extra capacitor from Geiger tube output to ground to eliminate noise Moved capacitors C5 and C4 out from under the switches Fixed silkscreen to show pin functions and outline for both sides for the auxiliary headers Added ON/OFF …
